Service break in the Astia online service on 21 March – Implementation of all features for the new Astia

The new Astia and Astia online service will have a service break on Monday 21 March starting at 8 am. The end of the service break will be announced separately, but please be prepared for the break to last the entire day.

During the service break, it will not be possible to reserve reading room facilities, place information requests, or access digital images through Astia. The break does not affect currently pending information requests. Documents reserved for reading room facilities in advance will be available normally.

Implementation of all features for the new Astia

After the break, the old Astia online service will no longer be available. It will be replaced by the new Astia, which can be used to access digital materials, order materials to a reading room or as interlibrary loans, apply for access rights, and place information requests with an online form. You can also examine your own order history.

Your order history will be retained through the transition. Any granted access rights will also be retained. In the future, using limited-access digital materials will be done through the new Astia.

Aarre materials will be added to the new Astia later in the spring. Until then, the Aarre archive register will be available to customers. There will be a separate announcement about ordering Aarre material to reading rooms.

Additional information about the changes will be updated onto the website at Astia instructions (in Finnish).
