Need help using the National Archives' online services or digital materials? Our new chat service will answer your questions from Monday to Thursday from 13:00 to 16:00.
The chat service can be found by clicking on the chat button at the bottom right of our website. The chat icon is a green bubble with a question mark and chat text inside. This is what the Chat button looks like:
The chat window also contains answers to the most frequently asked questions about online services and digital resources.
Chat conversations may be used to improve the services of the National Archives. In addition, the conversations may be disclosed for scientific research purposes. Before use, names, addresses, and other identifying information provided during the conversation will be removed.
Give feedback
The feedback form will continue to be used. You can use it to contact us, for example, about your own orders and to report digitisation shortcomings, among other things. You can find the form at the top of both the Astia and our website.
