Opening hours

• The reading room is open by prior reservation in even weeks on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 4 pm.
• Book an appointment for a visit via e-mail: [email protected]
  • The e-mail address is only intended for appointment bookings, and it is not used to answer other inquiries.
  • You can also book an appointment by calling +35829 533 7300 between 10-12 and 13-15. The phone reservation has to be made the day before the visit at the latest. 
• The Swedish customer service for the reading rooms is organised mainly remotely during opening hours. 

Delivery of materials

• Requests for material must be made primarily through Astia access service.

Arrival

Public transportation: The travel centre is located in the immediate vicinity of the branch office, on the other side of the so-called Maasilta. Regional bus routes and timetables.

Parking: The nearest parking spaces are on Varastokatu and in the yard of the old bus station opposite the branch office.

Accessibility

There is a wheelchair ramp at the entrance and the interior is accessible. An accessible toilet is in the customer service facilities. Guide dogs are allowed.
