The new Astia access service has been fully implemented – all data material is now available in one place
The new Astia service is available to customers from 22 March onwards. Now all the data material of the National Archives, except for the Aarre data, can be retrieved and accessed through a single user interface.
The new Astia service is available to customers from 22 March onwards. Now all the data material of the National Archives, except for the Aarre data, can be retrieved and accessed through a single user interface.
The Aarre data will be added later in the spring. Until then, Aarre orders can be made either at the offices by a free-form order or in advance with this order form (in Finnish or Swedish)Link opens in new window..
The new Astia service can be used to access digital materials, order materials to a reading room or as interlibrary loans, apply for access rights and place information requests with an online form. You can also examine your own order history. Your order history will be retained through the transition. Any granted access rights will also be retained. Using limited-access digital materials takes place through the new Astia service.
